I worked with Sheffield Health Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust Arts in Health Team to create some work for a new Mental Health Ward at The Longley Centre, Sheffield.

Taking inspiration from the Service Users art created in workshops, and pattern influences from the new wallpaper to create a cohesive look throughout, I created a series of collaged pieces on different kinds of wood, to give different colour and texture. Other materials used were Paper, Cork and Paint.

With a theme around Earth, Sea and Sky the idea was to create uplifting and vibrant pieces with natural elements that would add some colour and a sense of wellbeing to the ward. The finished 30cm diameter pieces were then photographed by Danni Maibaum and blown up to 1.8m and placed throughout the ward and the gardens.
