ZOE GENDERS
I am an Artist based in Sheffield, UK.
I studied Art & Design at Chesterfield College in 1997 and then later, an MArt Animation at Sheffield Hallam University, graduating with a First in 2013.
Following my graduation I spent 2 years at the BBC as a Prop Maker for Children's TV. I currently work as an Artist, painting large scale Murals and making tiny things out of Paper and also as a part-time Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University.
At SHU I specialised in Stop-motion Animation and really enjoyed the practical side of building Sets and making Clothes for tiny Puppets. During my time as a Prop Maker I got to make things on a much larger scale for TV and Film, which I found challenging and exciting.
I am available for private, commercial or public commissions.
